Prayer from Psalm 1

Father, help me to find Your presence in turning from sinful thoughts and ways.  

Father, help me to find Your life-giving presence in obedience to Your commands.

Amen

Prayer from 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
