Prayer from Hebrews 4:14-16

Father, through Your Son Jesus, I can connect to You.  I'm so thankful for this connection.  May I continually come to You with my burdens.  Thank you for inviting us to come before You.  

I'm doing just that this morning.  I bring my wife to You.  You know our situation.  You know what we are going through.  You know our fears.  You know our emotions.  I give all of this to You.  In return, would You give us grace to persevere?  Would You give Trina healing?  Thank you for the peace You've given her.  Would You continue to give her peace?  Would You also give our children peace too?  Would they see You at work and give You praise?  

I'm searching for mercy and grace from You to help us in our time of need.      

Amen

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Father, thank you for gently and patiently parenting me.   Thank you for waiting on me.  Thank you for always being there for me no matter what.   Thank you for your unconditional love for me. Now, I want to ask you to help me do this with my children. - To be gentle with them - To be patient with them. - To always be there for them.   - To unconditionally love them. I pray this in your name, amen.
