Prayer from Mark 10:46-52

Father, help me to so desire You and Your healing in my life that I don't care who notices my cries for You or who tries to shut me up.  Thank you for the example in Bartimaeus.  He threw off all retraint when he heard You were near.

He wanted healing.

He beleived You could do it.

He had faith.

Help me today to not be afraid to cry out to You in my weakness.  You are near.  You are ready to respond.

Amen

Prayer from Revelation 1:4-8

Jesus, you are: the one who is, who always was,  and who is still to come. Jesus, you are: the faithful witness, the first to rise from the dead,  and ruler of all the kings of the world. Jesus, you are: the one who loves us and has freed us from our sins, You have made us a kingdom of priests for God. All glory and power to You forever. Amen

Prayer from Colossians 3:21

Father, thank you for gently and patiently parenting me.   Thank you for waiting on me.  Thank you for always being there for me no matter what.   Thank you for your unconditional love for me. Now, I want to ask you to help me do this with my children. - To be gentle with them - To be patient with them. - To always be there for them.   - To unconditionally love them. I pray this in your name, amen.
