Prayer from Ruth 3:5

Father, give me a servant's heart that proclaims with Ruth, I will do whatever you say.

Taking time to answer someone's questions.  I will do whatever You say.

Washing dishes.  I will do whatever You say.

Listening to my kids.  I will do whatever You say.

Pausing my work to sit in Your prescence.  I will do whatever You say.

Picking up the phone to talk to a stranger.  I will do whatever You say.

Giving someone a ride.  I will do whatever You say.

Helping a friend.  I will do whatever You say.

Loving an enemy.  I will do whatever You say.

Amen

Ruth 3:5 "I will do whatever you say," Ruth answered.

Jesus, you are: the one who is, who always was,  and who is still to come. Jesus, you are: the faithful witness, the first to rise from the dead,  and ruler of all the kings of the world. Jesus, you are: the one who loves us and has freed us from our sins, You have made us a kingdom of priests for God. All glory and power to You forever. Amen

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High;  for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation       through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tend...
