Prayer from Luke 5:37-39

Father, transform me into a new wineskin to receive the new things You are doing around me.  Don't let me stop being flexible and growing.  Allow me to have a curious mind and do a lot of listening.  May I remember You are God of the present and future just as much as You are the past.  

Amen

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
