Scripture & Prayer Journal

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion  blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. Amen Psalm 51:1-2 NIV

Verse 2 says,  Wash away all my iniquity  cleanse me from my sin. My Prayer: I have a lot of sin in my life to be washed away and cleansed from Father, I'm fearful, I'm envious,  I'm covetous, I'm lustful,  I'm vengeful, I'm hateful, I'm prideful, I'm arrogant. May Your gentle, but loving presence, rid me of these sins that I've called friend for too long.   Amen

Wash away all my iniquity... Father, the trail of my iniquity is too long.   I can no longer see where it ends. Oh to be washed in your love and forgiveness.   Forgive me for living for myself. Bathe me in your other-oriented love. Wash away all my inquity. Amen

 I'm still spending time with Psalm 51 and working on memorizing it.  It's been a great prayer companion.  The Psalms usually are.  I'm up to verse 2.   Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin. My prayer: Father, give me a bath in your love and holiness.  May I see my sins dissolve in You.  May I rise and go forth knowing I'm whole again.  All of this was only possible because of You and your great love for me.   Amen
