Prayer from Psalm 51:2

Wash away all my iniquity...

Father, the trail of my iniquity is too long.  

I can no longer see where it ends.

Oh to be washed in your love and forgiveness.  

Forgive me for living for myself.

Bathe me in your other-oriented love.

Wash away all my inquity.

Amen

Prayer from Mark 10:46-52

Father, help me to so desire You and Your healing in my life that I don't care who notices my cries for You or who tries to shut me up.  Thank you for the example in Bartimaeus.  He threw off all retraint when he heard You were near.   He wanted healing.   He beleived You could do it.   He had faith.   Help me today to not be afraid to cry out to You in my weakness.  You are near.  You are ready to respond.   Amen
