An Easter season prayer

Jesus, stand in our midst like you did with those early disciples after Your resurrection.  

Surprise us with the truth. YOU ARE ALIVE!  

Show us those nail scars.  YOU HAVE FORGIVEN!

Send us in the power of Your Spirit.   YOU INVITE US TO JOIN YOU ON MISSION TO THE WORLD!

Amen

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
