Prayer from 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2

Heavenly Father,

Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.  

May I be thankful for it.  

May I relish it.  

May I celebrate it.  

May I cherish it.  

May I share it.  

May I talk about it.  

May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.  

Amen

Prayer from Mark 10:46-52

Father, help me to so desire You and Your healing in my life that I don't care who notices my cries for You or who tries to shut me up.  Thank you for the example in Bartimaeus.  He threw off all retraint when he heard You were near.   He wanted healing.   He beleived You could do it.   He had faith.   Help me today to not be afraid to cry out to You in my weakness.  You are near.  You are ready to respond.   Amen
