Prayer from Luke 3:1-6

Father, Your word comes to all of us.  

May we receive it as obediently as John.  

By Your words, may we seek to call people to live committed to You.

By Your words, may we seek to make the path to You clear.

By Your words, may we prepare hearts for Your arrival.  

Amen

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
