Prayer from Luke 3:15

Father, help me to look for You with expectation I'll find You, while at the same time realizing You may come to me in ways I don't expect.

The people were waiting expectantly and were all wondering in their hearts if John might possibly be the Messiah.

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
