Prayer from Luke 4:21-29

Father, help me to be a bridge builder for Your kingdom.  The old way is to put up fences that keep out and hinder Your grace.  May I have Your Spirit upon me.  May talk about the good news of the kingdom of God always be upon my lips.  May I help lead others to turn to You and find true freedom.  May I strive to bring others to Your table.  May I announce Your time of favor and blessing is here now!

Now, I want to ask you to help me do this with my children. - To be gentle with them - To be patient with them. - To always be there for them.   - To unconditionally love them. I pray this in your name, amen.
