Prayer from Luke 6:31

Father, help me to live in such a way that others around me, friend or foe, benefit from my presence in some way.  It could be in my attitude, a smile, a kind word, giving a gift, offering praise, and in my noticing of others.  May I take the posture of doing to others what I would want done to me.

Amen

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
