Scripture & Prayer Journal

Father, more than anything else, help me to quiet myself to listen to Your Son unpack the scriptures.   Help me to listen,                           to listen,                                     and to listen. Amen 

Father, may we remember the identity You've given us: We are Your kingdom. We are Your priests. We will serve You forever! Amen 

Help me obey You.   Empower me to share You. Amen 

Father, thank you for the ways you surprise us with Your Good News!   You roll stones away,  bring a dead body back to life,  send divine messengers to greet us,  tell us absurdly good news that death has been conquered,  and announce to us Jesus is risen!  Amen

Father, thank you for the hope we have in the life to come.  Your words tell us there is more to life than what we can see in front of us right now.  Help us to live, not for this life, but for the life to come.  May Easter remind us of what's to come through Your Son Jesus the Messiah.   Amen
