Prayer from Luke 24:1-12

Father, thank you for the ways you surprise us with Your Good News!  

You roll stones away, 

bring a dead body back to life, 

send divine messengers to greet us, 

tell us absurdly good news that death has been conquered, 

and announce to us Jesus is risen! 

Amen

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
