Prayer from 1 Corinthians 15:18-26

Father, thank you for the hope we have in the life to come.  Your words tell us there is more to life than what we can see in front of us right now.  Help us to live, not for this life, but for the life to come.  May Easter remind us of what's to come through Your Son Jesus the Messiah.  

Amen

Prayer from Mark 10:46-52

Father, help me to so desire You and Your healing in my life that I don't care who notices my cries for You or who tries to shut me up.  Thank you for the example in Bartimaeus.  He threw off all retraint when he heard You were near.   He wanted healing.   He beleived You could do it.   He had faith.   Help me today to not be afraid to cry out to You in my weakness.  You are near.  You are ready to respond.   Amen
