Prayer from Colossians 3:21

Father, thank you for gently and patiently parenting me.

Thank you for waiting on me.  Thank you for always being there for me no matter what.

Thank you for your unconditional love for me.

Now, I want to ask you to help me do this with my children.

- To be gentle with them

- To be patient with them.

- To always be there for them.

- To unconditionally love them.

I pray this in your name, amen.

Prayer from Revelation 1:4-8

Jesus, you are: the one who is, who always was,  and who is still to come. Jesus, you are: the faithful witness, the first to rise from the dead,  and ruler of all the kings of the world. Jesus, you are: the one who loves us and has freed us from our sins, You have made us a kingdom of priests for God. All glory and power to You forever. Amen

Prayer from 2 Corinthians 6:1-2

Now is the day of salvation - 2 Corinthians 6:2 Heavenly Father, Help me to see today as the day of salvation.  May my eyes be opened to even more of what You have done in the gift of salvation you've given me.   May I be thankful for it.   May I relish it.   May I celebrate it.   May I cherish it.   May I share it.   May I talk about it.   May it be on the forefront of my mind throughout today.   Amen
