Scripture & Prayer Journal

Your love is good. Your love is perfect. Your love is unconditional. Your love is full. Your love doesn't end. Your love breaks down dividing walls. Your loves wins the hearts of your enemies. Your faithfulness is steadfast. Your faithfulness is eternal. Your faithfulness is rugged. Your faithfulness is always present. Your faithfulness continues on from generation to generation. Amen

"Here are my mother and my brothers!" Jesus, thank you for inviting us to be in your family.   "Whoever does God's will is my brother or sister and mother." Jesus, help us to know and follow your will. May we know your will is to follow you, to grow in our knowledge of you, to speak truth, to live truth, to love everyone around us as we learn to love ourselves, and to keep you at the center of all we do.   "Whoever does God's will is my brother or sister and mother." Amen  

Jesus, help me to desire to not desire things that would pull my mind off of You. Amen

Father, thank you for gently and patiently parenting me.   Thank you for waiting on me.  Thank you for always being there for me no matter what.   Thank you for your unconditional love for me. Now, I want to ask you to help me do this with my children. - To be gentle with them - To be patient with them. - To always be there for them.   - To unconditionally love them. I pray this in your name, amen.

May your word be a lamp for my feet, and a light on my path. Amen

An Easter season prayer Jesus, stand in our midst like you did with those early disciples after Your resurrection.   Surprise us with the truth. YOU ARE ALIVE!   Show us those nail scars.  YOU HAVE FORGIVEN! Send us in the power of Your Spirit.   YOU INVITE US TO JOIN YOU ON MISSION TO THE WORLD! Amen
